Luckily Akiza sees through all of this and duels Sayer to get him out of her life for good. At first she would be glad he is okay, but then starts to question why he is seemingly being so nice and all, then a sinister motive is then seen, and he wants Akiza back. She would be haunted by her past that she thought she got over, and she turns to Yusei and the crew for help, even her parents, because Sayer has return and is trying to reform the Arcadia Movement.
Perhaps one of the bigger things I would have done is have Sayer come back in season 2, this time kinda as a stalker of Akiza. It wouldn’t be a turbo duel at all, but it would be interesting if it was. How she beats Crow how I would have wrote it, she would trap Crow somehow in an endless loop of burn damage. Akiza would win the duel and ends up as a backup member for the crew in case she is needed in the future.
(I know the team can only have 3 members and all). Eventually Leo and Luna had to intervene and tells both of them to settle it in a duel to figure it out. Of course this would lead into a colossal argument that even Yusei and Jack cannot stop at all. Crow seemingly has no faith in her being part of their dueling team as Crow feels that she doesn’t have what it takes to be a turbo duelist, and certainly doesn’t want a girl joining their crew.
As they were preparing for the tournament, and Akiza has already gotten her turbo dueling license. I would have also given her a duel with Crow as its own filler episode. Its a small change, but it would showcase how much her character has changed over from season 1. She would use her monster to beat the Ancient Gear Golems, and even had the help of the students by using their cards. In fact, those monster sare used as the foundation for the better monsters, like when she summons her Black Rose Dragon for a synchro summon. The plot of the episode would remain the same, and Yusei would have still been involved, but Akiza steps in to duel him to showcase that just because that the kids have low level monsters doesn’t mean that they are weak. I would have first starters have had the Lessons Learned episode feature her dueling Rudolph Heitmann instead of Yusei. Here are some of the things I would have done with her character in season 2. I have felt that this season could have gone much better if they were sometimes a few more episodes to flesh out more of the characters in detail, and mainly giving Akiza a much larger role in season 2 given she is perhaps one of the best characters in the entire Yu-Gi-Oh series, and how they completely wasted her character role in 5Ds after a great first season, and relegated Crow as the third main character in the group of Yusei and Jack. The above description came from atomofish, and was edited by yours truly. We can pretty all agree on that Akiza got the major shaft, along with Leo and Luna in season 2 of Yugioh 5Ds regarding the huge tournament. Yusei once again enters the game in order to challenge the person that betrayed his trust.ĭuring the duels, some of the cards are shown individually, and you hear a female voice explaining what the card does like the effect of syncro chick, a card that Yusei has. Two years pass and Jack has won his way to the top of the tournament. Yusei Fudo, a popular duelist hopes to win his way to the top with his own Duel Runner, though he is betrayed by his friend Jack Atlas, who takes his Duel Runner and his most precious monster. "Riding Duels" is the latest version of Duel Monsters, where events are played in large stadiums and involve the use of motorcycles with built-in Duel equipment called "Duel Runners."
It is now the year 2021, and Domino City has transformed into New Domino City, a place where society is strongly divided between the rich and the poor. In this new chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! saga, 5D's takes place long after the exploits of Yugi Mutou.
